Courtside Masterpieces
Where basketball culture meets fine art.
Every hoop is handcrafted, one-of-one, and designed to turn a game into a statement.
More Than a Basketball Hoop
Basketball has always been more than a game. It's culture. It's memories. It's competition. It's community.
Every Courtside Masterpiece begins with an authentic basketball rim and is transformed into a museum-quality work of art through hand-painted acrylics, mixed media, and a premium epoxy finish.
No two pieces are ever identical.
Smoke the Competition
Not every battle is won by doing more—some are won by staying focused.
Smoke the Competition transforms a classical figure into a modern symbol of confidence and relentless ambition. Emerging from a hand-painted portrait of a timeless muse, a plume of smoke forms the phrase "Smoke the Comp," turning a familiar expression into a declaration of dominance. Finished with a custom pink basketball rim and an epoxy-coated surface, the piece merges fine art, street culture, and sport into a sculptural statement that challenges viewers to rise above comparison and stay committed to their own path.
Designed to hang as both artwork and a functional mini hoop, this piece invites interaction while celebrating the mindset of champions.

Gotta Play to Win
Victory begins long before the final buzzer.
Gotta Play to Win captures two Black angels suspended above the clouds, locked in a timeless game of basketball beneath bold graffiti lettering that serves as both a title and a philosophy. The piece speaks to faith, ambition, and the courage to compete—not just in sports, but in life itself.
Basketball becomes a metaphor for purpose. Every opportunity requires participation, every dream demands action, and every victory belongs to those willing to step onto the court. The heavenly setting suggests that greatness isn't simply earned through talent, but through resilience, belief, and the willingness to keep playing when the odds seem impossible.
Blending contemporary figurative painting with street-inspired typography, this work celebrates Black excellence, perseverance, and the mindset that success favors those who refuse to sit on the sidelines.
Because you can't win the game if you never decide to play.

Status: SOLD • Custom Commission
Created exclusively for comedian Kerwin Claiborne, this one-of-one Courtside Masterpiece transforms the spirit of basketball into a statement about perseverance, purpose, and faith.
Inspired by the phrase "Greatness Is Earned," the artwork depicts two young Black angels reaching toward the rim—a visual reminder that greatness isn't inherited or given. It is pursued through sacrifice, discipline, and the willingness to rise above every obstacle.
Framed in an ornate gold frame with a functional basketball rim and net, the piece blurs the line between fine art and sport, inviting viewers to see the game as a metaphor for life itself. Every brushstroke, every texture, and every detail was handcrafted to reflect the unique story and vision behind the commission.
Like every Courtside Masterpiece, this work is completely original and will never be recreated.
