The inspiration behind the piece comes from a childhood memory. My great uncle once told me that whenever I saw a red bird, I should blow it a kiss for good luck. That simple tradition stayed with me, transforming the cardinal into more than just a bird—it became a symbol of good fortune, remembrance, and the wisdom passed down through family.
The ruby ring and crimson palette extend that symbolism, representing value, love, passion, and something precious enough to hold onto.
